Remember, I'm not a revolutionary. If the revolution happens, it will happen by itself. Lately, though, I've realized that I have an intense fascination with revolutionary action.
My mother and I were talking awhile ago about what kinds of events spark revolutions.
Hunger was one of them.
Mom told me "Especially if there're mothers involved. There are few things that cause you to do more than the thought of your children starving."
This is exactly what happened to cement the collapse of the Romanov Dynasty in Russia, February of 1917. Women rioting because they couldn't feed their kids.
Let's see where this goes.

So, any ideas on what sort of revolution could stem from the current world hunger crisis?
I do have a question Is this current situation just that - the current status of an ever-present reality of starving people? I mean, there are, and always have been, hunger problems somewhere on this planet. (I in no way intend to sound callous, but hunger and are part of our experience on planet earth since Adam and Eve decided to do their own thing!) Is the current situation worse than it's been in the past? More wide-spread? I read some articles on the link you provided, but don't know how the current status compares to past, and am interested to know.
Another thought, for whatever it's worth . . . I'm in no way suggesting that the appearance of the Beast is imminent, but seems to me that if someone could come and figure out a way to fix the world's food supply issues, he'd be considered deity by many!
Hello. This post is likeable, and your blog is very interesting, congratulations :-). I will add in my blogroll =). If possible gives a last there on my blog, it is about the Teclado e Mouse, I hope you enjoy. The address is http://mouse-e-teclado.blogspot.com. A hug.
um...k ?
I really don't know as far as what's happened in the past. You're right in that people have been hungry for a very long time. The main reason I brought up "the revolution" is because there was some talk in the article about "rising up together," and I thought it was noteworthy.
I really shouldn't be goofing off online right now, I have too much school to do :-)
